He brought his hands up to her face and touched it with both of them. They were cool, and her face was warm- from the embarrassment, probably. He looked into her eyes and smiled brightly, "It's okay," he said, "I forgive you, don't fret about it."
Daniel pulled his hands down. They were awfully cold. He dug around in his pockets for gloves that had the tips of the fingers cut off- his favorite. He pulled them on, they were grey and rough. He rubbed them up against both of her cheeks once they were on, and smiled, laughing lightly. Daniel pulled them back and rested them at his sides as he bent down slightly and looked into her eyes.

Ana both froze and melted at the same time. It felt rather weird actually. Her body was frozen from his touch-so unexpected. But she was also melting on the inside at his touch-so unexpected. Her lips curved slowly into a smile, "uh...thanks" Score! The stuttering was residing.
His touch was cold and when he pulled his hands back her face rushed to heat up again. But his gloves beat her to it. She giggled, feeling the rough fabric on her face. That warmed her up for sure. She smiled warmly at him, her blue eyes reflecting in his. "Nice gloves..." she said with a crooked grin.

Daniel laughed lightly, "C'mon, Ana, lighten up," he said, "You don't have to stutter around me, even though I may do it sometimes. Its.. uhm.. well, I have somewhat of a stuttering problem- in certain situations," he said, nodding. Daniel threw his arm around her shoudlers and pulled her to him, forcing her to continue walking along the beach. No need for her to look at the sand- it was all clear and soft under their feet. No more shells. He turned to face her, thinking of something to ask, but couldn't, so he just smiled.

Ana blushed again. "I don't try to stutter. I..I just get nervous sometimes." She looked up at him, and knew why she was nervous. "But hopefully....I won't get nervous around you anymore." She looked hopeful into his eyes, wanting so much to lose her fears, to be on her stage in the spotlight. When he pulled her close, her natural instinct was to rest her head against his body; something she did with her older brother all the time. She hesistated, before gently resting her head against him, smiling at the warm sand under their feet now.

Daniel continued to steadily pull her along the beach. They came to the near end where along the cement wall, were several large rocks. He recognized this to be a place where most jumped up on them, posing for pictures with friends and family. He recognized it to be a place where students indulged in amatuer photography and took pictures to send back home. He smiled and pulled his arm away from her shoulders, grabbing her hand and pulling her playfully along, sprinting slightly.
"Come over here," he said, turning back around and smiling at her, "I love these rocks, its so nice to look out at the ocean," he said, smiling still. Once he arrived, he let go of her hand and slid his hands down to her waist, wrapping them tightly around it and lifting her on top of the rocks. He climbed up after her and turned to smile at her, "Isn't it great?" he asked, his smile wide and adorable.

Ana couldn't help but laugh as she was tugged along. He was so young and fresh; a nice break from the stiff formals she had been around so long. She glanced out at the deep blue water, sparkling in front of them. They were beautiful. Ryan would love the pictures here. Her gaze went back to him when she didn't sense his warm hand in hers. She took in a small intake of air, gasping shockily at his grip on her waist. When she felt firm ground beneath her again she relaxed and took in the scenery. "It's...beautiful..." she said softly, turning to smile shyly at him.

Daniel bit down on his lip, he looked at the waters and then back at Ana. Something knocked in his stomach, and he could feel strange things as he looked into her eyes. He cought himself in a gaze and found it almost impossible to pull away, but did so and brought a hand to his eyes, rubbing them as he laughed softly. Daniel rested his hand back down on the rock, realizing that he'd touched Anastasia's and laced his fingers with hers.
"Yeah, its.. uhm.. amazing," he said, smiling back at her.

((lmfao..just reread my post..I said the word 'shockily'...that sure as h*ll cant be real))
Ana caught his gaze and she felt a rush of emotions as she stared at the sparkling diamonds in the rough. She has only felt like this with only one other person. Ashley. It scared her and thrilled her all at the same time. She would most definitely have to talk with Ryan about all of this.
She brought her mind back to the present, to catch him rubbing his eyes. She would of asked if he had gotten sand or something in them, but he was laughing so she figured it was all ok. Her hand was growing cold, missing his warmth and gladly accepted it when it returned. Her eyes glanced down at their hands, intertwined on the rock and smiled softly. She looked nervously back up at him and then out at the ocean. The silence passed between them, just the rush of the ocean in the background. She finally plucked up the courage to continue their conversation again. "So Daniel, what brings you out to the little city of Berlin, New Hampshire?"

Daniel chewed on his lower lip as Anastasia accepted his warm hands. He looked out at the ocean, his eyes reflecting off of it. A smile appeared on his face and he turned to look at her, raising his eyebrows at the sudden break of silence- and her question.
"Well, Uhm.. my sister and I had a rough past, and I found out about Radcore. I liked it pretty much from the webpages and booklets that they sent me. So, we decided to go, and announced it to some family that was randomly floating about, and somehow it got along the line and someone paid for our way. They paid for us tuition as long as we wanted to attend Radcore Academy," he said, with a small nod. He tried not to catch her gaze, but knew that he could barely help himself when looking into her eyes.

Ana immediately felt guilty after hearing him. She had never truly had a rough life and here she was sitting with someone who did. And she felt an overwhelming want- no a need, to help him. But no, not out of pity. She never pitied, but out of.....love, respect, the deservance.
"You have a sister?" She realized she never caught his last name and was curious if she had unknowningly met his sister already. "Well I'm glad you found Radcore. I was sort of sent here, thanks to my overprotective parents. We just moved here from Boston and they wanted me in a 'safe and responsible envirnonment." Ana used air quotes on the last part, using her parents words. She smiled softly at him, her eyes catching his repeatedly and then looking to the ocean shyly.

"Yeah, I have a sister. She has been here.. uhm.. a year longer than I have, out of the fact that she is a year older than me," he said, looking at Anastasia up and down, once she had looked away, "I bet you have even met her- her name is Alice, Alice Mercedes," he said, smiling, although he was unsure if Ana was looking or not.
The night seemed to be getting darker, the streetlights flickering on around the beach told him so. He tilted his head and squeezed Anastasia's hand as he looked out at the ocean that was crashing soflty. It was gorgeous.

Alice She had thought he had seemed so similar to someone she had met before. Her lips cracked open into a smile, though she still looked out at the ocean. "Yeah I've met her. Alice was my shopping buddy the other day. Good times. You say she's a year older than you? That must make me a year older than you as well." She looked back at him, grinning in the darkening surroundings, too late to catch his observances. She tightened her hold on his hand as a particularly large wave crashed below them.

Daniel pulled his hand away from hers, finding himself scoot closer to her and wrap his arm around her shoulders. He tugged at her, hugging her lightly as he pulled her towards himself. Daniel raised his eyebrows. She was older than him. This didn't disturb him, but he wondered how it made her feel.
"You don't mind that I'm a year younger than you, do you?" he asked, turning to look into her beautiful eyes. He hated to do it though, every time he did, he cought himself in a rush of wild emotions, and want. Lust, too.

She snuggled closer to him, feeling the warmth their bodies created blocking away the cold. Tonight was so perfect and so peaceful. She didn't want it to end. She tilted her head to look up at him, her eyes getting caught in his gaze. "No....not at all." It was true, age was a trivial matter to her. Though her brother may not agree. But right now Ana didn't care what her brother would say. Tonight was her night. She tucked up her legs, bending her knees up to her chest and sighed happily.

Daniel bit down on his lip as he cought her eyes in a gaze. Either she was teasing him, or she was starting to like him too. He turned away sharply, looking at the crashing waves of the Berlin ocean. He turned back to face her, catching her eyes once again, and smiling. Before he knew it, Daniel was close to her face- and didn't know why, but he liked it. He looked into her eyes, his arm still securely around her shoulders. What was it about this girl that did this to him? She was the first person he'd met here that had made him nervous like this.
