Lucas stared at his own reflection, trying to keep his thoughts focused. "I'm sorry. I don't mean to be like this. It just drives me crazy." He said, twirling his fingers across the water and watching the ripples. "I don't know what to say. I care about you. I guess I got a bit jealous. But I wouldn't know. I've never been one to get jealous. But, just try not to get hurt, and me and Aiden won't have a problem."

Lucy stood up and walked over to Lucas. She sat down beside him and layed her head on his shoulder. Lucy looked up into the boy's eyes. They were eyes that she had looked up to so much. During angry times like these, during intimate times like ones in the past, and during times in class, where she'd just happen to catch his eye. She bit down on her lip, feeling gentle hot tears stream down her face.
"Luke, I'm a big girl," she said, "I don't want to get hurt, but Aiden isn't one to do something like that. If we end up splitting up, more than likely it will be my fault. But, I don't think Aiden would cheat on me," she said, sniffling lightly, and looking down at Lucas's hands.

Lucas shook his head. "Lucy, there is more than one way to hurt a girl other than cheating on her. But, I'll keep out of it. This is your business. Just please be careful. If anything happened to you..." He said, but cut himself off before he said anything he might regret. He had never known how hard it would be to hold back his feelings for someone, no matter what those feelings were.
"Okay then. Last time I need to know." He said with a joking smile as he looked at her. "Better kisser than I am?"

"I know, Luke, there are- but Aiden isn't abusive with words, he's not abusive in any way, possible. He just acts like himself and naturally is a good guy. He's a smidge shy, but that's all, Lucas. That's it, his words don't stick to my heart like black band-aids from your words do," she said.
Lucy hit him playfully on the arm, and sat upright, crossing her feet, "Uh. I can't answer that, Luke. That's a pretty difficult question. We would have to test it out, but I don't think now is a good time," she giggled, placing a hand on his chest, "We didn't go very.. far. I was planning on it though, that is until you kissed Jessica."
