Personality:
Remington is a pretty down-to-earth kind of guy. He is very laid back and enjoys life as much as he can. Ever since the death of his younger sister, and best friend, Remington has became a better person, watching his moves and making sure that he doesn't screw up. His personality obviously reflects this.
Remington is there for you. If you ever need a shoulder to cry on, or a friend to talk to for advice- Remington is that guy. He can tell you what he thinks is right, and look at it in various perspectives. Remi will try to negotiate through the situation and help eliminate the bad from the good. He's a useful friend.
Rem is very smart as well as artistic. His personality reflects this as well, seeing as he tries to look at everything in an artistic view from time to time. Remington uses his brains to help people out, and loves to do it.
History:
[He is from Kansas City, Missouri, USA]
You could say that Remington's childhood was perfect. To him- it was. He grew up in a cheery family of four. They would take vacations to the Gulf of Mexico, they would take trips to the lake to go fishing, and even go skiing in Canada together. They had fun on their trips to Niagra Falls, where Remi and his younger sister, and best friend would stand at the rail, large smiles on their faces, and sodas at hand. Perfect times.
This was until Remington's sister was introduced to something that wasn't healthy. She was introduced to drugs, and soon became addicted. They had been best friends for fifteen long years, twins you see. When Remi's twin decided to head on over to her boyfriend's house, he never expected that he wouldn't see her again. He and Rayne [that was her name], had just gotten into a large argument about something that wasn't worth arguing over. He regretted it, when he had heard the news that she overdosed and was gone.. forever.
This changed the mood in their household. No more vacations were taken, unless it was to the graveyard to deliver flowers to Rayne's grave. Remington had lost his only sibling and best friend. Now that this had happened- he was being sent to Radcore Academy, in hopes of finding new friends, and being able to get over his sister's death.
Special talents:
Remington is quite the artist. He loves to sketch, draw, and paint. When bored, you will find him doodling or creating a new comic book character along with hilarious quoting.
Remington is also quite the skilled photographer. He indulges in taking pictures of couples at the beach, or romantic scenery- even scenery in general, no matter what the type. You name it, he'll take the picture.
Remington loves to play football. It is one of the few things that he still does, and relieves him of stress. Once he discovered the death of his sister, he was always out in the field, getting dirty and nasty over a harsh game of football. He would never play on a team, though.
Role Playing Example:
Remington sat at his desk nervously, tapping his pencil on his Health book. His eyes scanned from one part of the room to the other. He was afraid that the teacher was watching him, as if her eyes were burning into the back of his head, expectant to see what he would come up with. He had to write an essay, on the cardiovascular system, and the functions of it in the body.
Remi scribbled a few words on his paper, but soon found himself erasing them with his short, wooden pencil. He bit down on his lip, and sucked on his teeth- scanning his brain for something to write about, and what he could say. Remington nearly had a heart attach, when he felt the teacher's hand on his shoulder. Rem winced and turned around, looking up at the aging woman, and shot her a nervous smile.
"Relax," is what escaped from her lips, "It will all be fine. It is just one essay, Remington. I have faith in you," she said. Remington hadn't a clue why she had said this. He wasn't nervous about the essay. He was just nervous about coming to a new school, with a new group of people, in a new part of the United States that he wasn't familiar with- that was it, nothing to be nervous about.
