Lucas was slouched into a chair in the large area. He was well hidden in a seat, his hat pushed down, and the seating area in complete darkness. The whole place was empty, and it was a perfect place to relax because so few people ever just came there to be there. So, why not take a nap?
He was breathing lightly, enjoying the relaxing moments as he listened to his own thoughts. Until that is, a sound on the stage pulled him from his almost sleep. He pushed up the brim of his hat to see what was going on.

This was it. The great concert hall. Well, it was big; great might be pushing it a bit. Anastasia flicked on the main stage light and walked out to the middle. She stared out at all the empty seats and smiled. Maybe she could make it here at Radcore Academy. She spun slowly on the stage, taking in the beautiful sight. It was just like home, and all hers. Ana let out a small giggle and stopped in her spinning. The lights were set, the actress ready; now all she needed was an audience.

Lucas put his hand in front of his eyes, the light hurting his eyes a little from being accustomed to darkness. He looked through the light to see a girl, and quickly sat up straighter. "So, we may finally get some entertainment. Unless, you came here to be alone." He said, arching an eyebrow curiously.

Ana froze in the spot light at a mysterious voice. She loved being watched when she was on stage, as someone else, but not like this. She peered at the seats, until she spotted a boy seated in the back. She could already feel her cheeks heating up at the realization that someone saw her spinning around like a moron on stage. "Um..hello. I didn't know someone else was here. I hope I didn't disturb you." She smiled embarrassedly at him and fidgeted with her jeans pocket.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you." He said, standing up. He stretched and yawned loudly, glad to be moving again. He moved slowly to the stage, not wanting to scare her away or anything. "No, it's fine, really. I was bored anyways. I'm Lucas by the way. Lucas Murray."

Ana moved towards the edge of the stage, closing the gap more between them. "Oh it's fine. I was just getting a um...feel of the stage." Her cheeks flared up red again at this moronic answer. "Nice to meet you Lucas. I'm Anastasia. But you can call me Ana." Then as an after thought she hurriedly added, "if you want to that is." Wow she was terrible with new people.

Lucas walked up to the stage, lifting himself up onto it and sitting down. He tried to keep himself out of the spotlight and from being blinded. "That's a cute name. Not very common either." He said, yawning slightly again, trying to hide it with his hand. "So, you like the stage or something?"

Ana half-smiled at this. Her name-something familar. She could deal with this. "Yeah my parents liked odd names. My brother's name is Alexis." She laughed softly at this. Her poor brother. But she had always like her name. Especially the crazy nicknames people came up with along with it. She looked up at the stage and smiled. "Yeah. Acting is what I do. Acting, singing, dancing. The works."

"That's cool." He said, forcing himself not to laugh when she said her brother's name was Alexis. It was certainly different. He grabbed the end of the stage, swinging his legs lazily. "I guess we both have that in common. We're both like entertaining people. Though, I'm not so much into the stage thing. The court's my place."

Ana could see the laughter he was hiding and wasn't surprised. Only her, Ryan, and Ashley really understood his name. And even they teased him playfully still. "Co-" She was about to ask what he meant by court when she realized what he meant. Her cheeks flushed and she ducked down to look at the stage floor. "That's cool. I was never coordinated enough to run and dribble a ball at the same time." Ana said with a small smile. "I'm sure you can run with the best though."

Lucas just shrugged slightly. "Eh, I'm alright." He said, hiding a mental smile. He was of course better than just alright, but hey. He really wasn't really one that liked to brag a lot. Granted he had his moments, but he deserved them. "Maybe, but I certainly know you are great on stage. You must really love it up here. I could see it in your eyes."

She nearly brought up her hands to cover her eyes. She did however bring her gaze up to look at him. "Thanks. I think I'm alright. Just a few productions here and there. But I do love it. It's the one time I'm not shy or scared." She hesistated on continuing her talk. "It's just a real fun experience for me." She slid down to sit on the edge, keeping a safe distance between her and Lucas.

Lucas nodded. "Something about making people happy for me. It's not so much that I love the sport. Don't get me wrong, I do. It's just, I love watching the crowd's cheer, and even more; them cheering for me. It's always a rush." He said, leaning back on his elbows and looking to the ceiling. "You know, it's really not that bad in here."

Ana smiled, knowing just what he was talking about. When she delivered a line perfectly, or hit that note in a song, or moved her hips the right way during a dance; it felt amazing. Her adrenaline pumped and all of her fears disappeared. She could be whoever she wanted, a chameleon. But at the end of a performance everyone knew that it was her, Anastasia Conner; the shy girl from class who never talked, who blushed at any reference to herself, who was awkward around anyone she didnt know, AC, who gave that performance and wowed the crowd. She followed his gaze, and then looked back out to the empty seats. "I'm sure I'd say the same thing about the court. It seems big, but once you get familar with it; everything is alright."
