Xylia was dieing of boredom. She wanted to hang out with Zachary or Kazz. But they weren't around. Of course there was always the option of meeting someone new. But at the moment, she just wanted to do some exploring of the school. So far her days here havn't been all that fun filled, except for when she hung out with Zachie. Other than that, it was boring and she really needed something to brighten her stay here.
Seeing a beat-up wooden door that had a sign on it that Do Not Enter, Xylia smirked. Bitting her bottom lip, she opened the door slowly. Shutting it quickly behind her. It was pitch dark, which sucked. Reaching behind her, she grabbed the mini back that hung from her shoulders. Taking hold of the little green fishie that lite up when you squeezed it. Clipping it off her pack, she squeezed it on. It wasn't the best light, but it would... for now.
Venturing down a set of stairs, Xylia took a seat on one of the steps with a sigh. Instead of heading any farther into the basement, she decided to just wait here for a bit.

Anastasia stumbled in the darkness. How on earth had she managed to get herself down here? Terrible sense of direction, that's what. She held her hand out in front of her like a zombie, trying to find her way out. She saw a very faint light ahead of her and walked towards that- if you could call it walking. "Umm...is anyone there?" she asked softly.

Xylia leaned her head one the railing and sighed. The darkness never scared her that much. But this dark was different. For some reason she didn't feel all that safe where she was. She didn't really care though. Just then she heard a faint voice and jumped. Her little green fishie dropped out of her hand.
Eyes getting wide, Xylia reached down running her hands around the step beneth her trying to find her only source of light. When she couldn't find it she kicked the ground lightly. "Um, yeah." She said soflty not really sure what to say.
Quickly she pulled her backpack off and put her hand in. She had to have something useful in her, something, anything. When he fingers brushed her lighter. Rolling her eyes remembering about that. Pulling it out, she flicked it on. Watching the flames, she moved it around looked for a figure.

Ana jumped, frightened, by the sound of something scuffling up ahead. Don't be a rat. Please don't be a rat. But rats couldn't talk. So it had to be human. She tried to slow her beating heart as the faint light had disappeared. But then it was relit, and a bit stronger now. She let out a sigh of relief and took a few steps closer to whatever, or whomever it was.
When she came close enough, she saw it was a lighter providing her light and the lighter was being held by a girl. "Um..hi. Do you spend time in basements often?" She asked, cracking a small smile. "Because I'm a bit lost here." She saw steps leading upwards, and hoped they led back to the light of day.

Moving the lighter around a bit, she tried to catcha glimpse at whoever it was that spoke. Biting her bottom lip, Xylia finally spotted the girl. But the light wasn't quite bright enough to see her face all that well. Grinning, she shurgged slightly. "I've never been down her actually. But just up these stairs is the door to leave."
Using the rail, to help herself stand up. Shifting her weight to the other foot, she sighed. "The name's Xylia." She said and turned the lighter off. It was getting a little to hot to hold. After only a few moments, she lite it back up.

Ana nodded, and looked up at the door. She could wait a bit longer to go. She looked back at the girl, watching the flame of the lighter dance. "Yeah, I took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up lost down here. Not too well with directional stuff." She let out a small laugh and glanced around their surroundings. "Not to pretty down here."
Stepping back a few steps so the girl had room, AC stretched out a bit. "Nice to meet you...Xylia? I hope I said that right. I'm Anastasia. But people call me Ana." She held out her hand to the girl, careful to avoid the flame from her other hand.
