Patsy sighed as she trodded down the dusty steps of the basement. She saw dirt flying everywhere as her skirt began to fill with the flying dust. She began to sneeze as it assended up her nose. She was carrying her gibbson guitar with her. Patsy figured she could get some quiet time of music writing in before she had to go to class, then again, she might just decide that she didn't have to go. Besides, today's not different then any other day, just her first day in a new school, new place. Just like she had wanted to do for months. Start over fresh, why not start over with your first day of not showing up for class, that way the teachers don't expect to much out of you and you don't have to face them just yet.
She pulled an old crate towards the middle of the room as she sat down on it and pulled out her guitar. The light wasn't the best but it was bright enough to see, and she figured she wouldn't be bothered here. Nothing but an old musty basement and a lovely smell of of dust and grime. Plus quietness, that was the thing she most loved, was quiteness. She had been reserved since her parents death, and she figured she had nothing left, the only people in her life that paid a speck of attention to her was now gone. And her family that she did have existing were to busy with their own lives to care that she was greiving. But that had been 2 years ago, and still she wasn't fully over it. But how can you get over the death of both of your parents? Even her relationship with them wasn't what you could even call a relationship but they were her parents nonetheless.
She smiled as she laid her guitar on her lap and took out her pick. she began strumming and playing a few chords. She finally found the right tunning after turning the strings a few times. She began to strum her guitar harder, making it produce a rugged sound as she sang a few words to a new song she had written.
"Watch me fall like a shooting star you never thought I'd get this far watch me burn in the atmosphere don't you blink I might disappear...,"
she sang strongly as she continued to strum. trying to figure out the verses she wanted to fit the song.

Teagan walked through the dusty basement, frowning slightly as she heard the sounds of guitar and singing coming from one of the other rooms down there. She bit her bottom lip, thoughtfully, heading in the direction of the sound.
Reaching the door it was coming from, she peeked her head in seeing a girl sitting there with her Gibson guitar. "Hey," she said, smiling, "I heard the guitar, I'm not interrupting am I?"

Patsy smirked as she heard a voice coming from up the stairs. "No, not really. I figured I'd just jam down here. Seemed like the most quiet place. But your welcome to come down if you wish. But I will say its quite dusty....," Patsy said smirking.
Truth was she was glad to meet new people, not make the place more awkward to keep completely to herself. She put the pick in her mouth as she leaned over and wrote into her journal a few lines of the first verse. She was actually interested in what these students here were like. Where they anything like her? Or where they the typical rich kids that she had always met. "I'm Patsy by the way.," Patsy said as she continued to look upward to see if the girl had come down the stairs towards her.
She figured she'd be nice and introduce herself, it wasn't polite to just aquaint yourself and not know names. It seemed alittle less informal if that happend. She always usually gave the first introductoin when it came to her mind. she didn't want anyone to percieve her as rude.

Teagan smiled, "I've already experienced the dust," she said, giggilng a bit as she entered hte room. She pulled up a milk crate, and sat down on it cross-legged as she looked at the guitar the girl was holding. "I'm Teagan," she introduced, "Nice to meet you ,love."

Patsy smirked as the girl joined her. She didn't mind the company, and she liked meeting new students. And apparently the girl had found this place before she had, which was of course expected considering the girl was a student here and seemed to have been here longer than Patsy had. "Its nice to meet you Teagan. And it is quite dusty here but it actually has a nice atmosphere if you over look its dusty presence.," She said as she began to strum her guitar as she fished for a few notes to make a melody. "Do you play?," Patsy asked Teagan.

"Um, I can play a bit of guitar but I'm quite good at bass," Teagan said, giving a hint of a shrug, "I also sing a lot," she informed her. "I would actually really like to get a band going," she said, sighing a bit. She hadn't had much luck thus far in doing so.

Patsy smirked. "A chick for a bassist? Rock on man. I've not seen one in a good while. And I'd love to get a band together. I've had one back home, but nothing really big. Just a few of us jammin.," She said laughing. "I'd love to hear you sing.," Patsy said seriously. Truth was, she'd love to have the feeling of a band. The creative process. The on going life of music. The gigs. Its a life of music, a life she so wished to live.

Teagan smiled at Patsy, "You sure about that?" she inquired. She wouldn't mind singing for the girl, but didn't know if she'd think she was good enough. Teagan thought she had awesome vocal skills, but she would never brag about her own skills. "Any preference what I sing for you?" she inquired.

Patsy smirked. "Eh, I don't say anything I don't mean.," She said shaking her head. she thought a minute and shook her head. "Nothings coming to mind, How about you pick something, I'll see if I can follow along.," Patsy said putting her pick between the cress of her lips and wiping her palms on her skirt. She took the pick out of her mouth and readied herself as she waited on Teagan. She definatly knew with talented people, the band idea coudl definatly get going, and they could start off with a bang.

"I don't love you, by MCR," Teagan said, thoughtfully, "It's a pretty basic song..." she said, waiting for Patsy to inform her if she knew how to play the song or not. If not, she could always seem a capella, until Patsy got the chords down.

Patsy smirked. "Definatly one of the best bands around, and take it away, chicka.," Patsy said as she began to strumm the chords of the song. She looked up at Teagan with a smirk as she waited on her to pick up singing. She loved MCR and knew how to play most of their songs. One she couldn't quite get down was the demo Jack the Ripper. that was one that gave her the most trouble.

Teagan smiled, taking a deep breath before she began to sing. Her voice was soft, yet raspy and melodic. It was oddly haunting not like anyone that was really famous, as she sang the words. The lyrics left her, full of intense passion and sincerity as she sang.
Well, when you go Don't ever think I'll make you try to stay And maybe when you get back I'll be off to find another way
And after all this time that you still owe You're still the good-for-nothing I don't know So take your gloves and get out Better get out While you can
When you go Would you even turn to say "I don't love you Like I did Yesterday"
Sometimes I cry so hard from pleading So sick and tired of all the needless beating But baby when they knock you Down and out It's where you oughta stay
And after all the blood that you still owe Another dollar's just another blow So fix your eyes and get up Better get up While you can Whoa, whooa
When you go Would you even turn to say "I don't love you Like I did Yesterday"
Well come on, come on
When you go Would you have the guts to say "I don't love you Like I loved you Yesterday"
I don't love you Like I loved you Yesterday
I don't love you Like I loved you Yesterday
She completed the song, looking at Patsy, chewing her bottom lip nervously, waiting to see what she had to say. She didn't often inform people that she'd just met of her talents.

Patsy smirked as she played the song and listened to Teagan. The girl had pipes. And an amazing tone to her voice. "Man, Now thats how that song would definatly sound if a chick sang it. Definatly got talent girl.," Patsy said coming to a stop as they both ended the song. "Best I"ve heard in a while. With your talents on the mic and I'm definatly looking forward to hearing you play bass, we could be a wickedly awesome band.," Patsy said suringly.

Teagan gave a smile, "Thanks, I appreciate that. I really don't sing for many people, I don't know I'm just more self-conscious about it than anything else. I guess becuase people's opinions can be so varied, you know," she gave a shrug. "But, I'll definitely toss my bass skills at you..."

Patsy smirked. She fully understood Teagan's feeling of people and their opinions. But Patsy had learned to not care what anyone thought, she guessed thats where her don't care attitude came in. "Well as long as I get one of your many talents I'm definatly happy about that.," She said smirking. "Did you teach yourself the bass or did you have any sort of lessons?," Patsy asked intriuged.
