Teagan slipped through the door of the teacher's lounge, pulling a crumpled dollar out of her lowriders pocket and sticking it into the soda machine. She was still dressed in her pair of lowriders, and tight fitting black t-shirt, studded belt, black fedora, and strappy, black boots that she'd worn to school. Chewing on her bottom lip, she studied her choices trying to decide what she wanted to drink.
She was lingering around the school, just moseying about the hallways...but of course, she wasn't supposed to be in this part of the building as it was after hours. Shrugging it off, she pushed a stray strand of her hair out of her face as she pushed the button for 'Coke:Zero' and reached down to get it as it fell into the bottom of the machine.

Mr. McAvoy, or Jason as was his first name, entered the teachers lounge. He was really thirsty after a long day of classes. He walked to the machine to find someone already there. Though, from what he could see they looked older, and was amazed when he saw it was a student. Though, he did not get mad. He was never really one for punishment.
"Young lady, you do realize you shouldn't be in here, don't you?" He asked, trying to sound as stern as possible.

Teagan stood upright, opening the soda and casually taking a sip as she turned to look at who had spoken to her. She couldn't help but give a little smirk as she saw who it was. One of the newer teachers, the very attractive Mr. McAvoy.
"I'm quite aware," Teagan said, giving a hint of a shrug as she continued to smirk at him. She flopped down on the leather couch nearest the soda machine. "But, here I am, nonetheless.." she said, her eyes scanning over him, unconsciously. Yes, very...very...attractive.

"Well, as long as you realize it." He said, dropping his coins into the machine and getting a drink at random. He carefully opened it, drinking down half the contents. "So, do you mind telling me why your in here? I mean, I don't want to have to write you up. It would mean extra paperwork and all."
"You're pretty lucky I'm the one that found you. Most teachers wouldn't be so lenient." He grinned, taking a different couch opposite her.

"Then, I'm forever in your debt," Teagan said, still smirking, "And would you really like to write me up, I mean, that would really just be a nuisance for both of us. And as far as me being in here, I was just moseying, really."
She leaned forward, resting her elbows on her knees, and raising an eyebrow at him as she held her soda between her hands, "Something tells me you're not like most teachers..."

Jason nodded his head slowly. "That's because I'm not. I'm not as old as most teachers...especially around here." He said, sipping gently from his soda. "And, I have to say that you are quite right. It's so silly to write you up for something so small. Just don't let anyone else catch you in here. Some teachers aren't as rough about it."
Jason watched her, more than slightly curious about her. Just something about her intrigued him. "So, what classes are you taking? I don't believe I have you in any of mine."

Teagan gave a tiny salute, as she sat back against the cushions of the couch. "Yes, sir," she said, smirking still. "Unfortunately, I couldn't manage to swing any of your classes, despite my intense love of creative writing and English," she said, sounding a bit bitter. She took a sip of her drink, sighing at the news. "That's usually what leads me to skip most of my classes, though I'm still managing to pass with flying colors even with my case of intense senioritis," she said, giving a short burst of laughter. She leaned forward again, holding out her hand to him, "I'm Teagan Smith, by the way," she said, feeling it was inappropriate not to have introduced herself.

Jason laughed slightly. "Man, I wish I had gone to a high school. Though, college was pretty cool. Had tons of fun there." He said, a smirk on his face. Even though he was a teacher, he was still really young by most standards. At twenty four, he was still an adult, but still had his ability to act younger.
He took her hand in a professional manner, grinning slightly. "Jason McAvoy. Though, as school policy says, you must call me Mr. McAvoy. But please, only when the other teachers are around. Frankly, I think it makes me sound old."

Teagan grinned, "Well, Jason, I wouldn't want you to feel old," she said, sitting back in her side as she withdrew her hand from his. "You're obviously not old, how old are you? Assuming you don't mind me asking, I'm guessing ...23?" she inquired, crossing her legs and sitting back against the couch once again.

"Close." He said with a small laugh. "I'm 24. I wont be 25 until the summer." He moved back in the couch getting comfortable again. He downed the rest of his drink easily. "So, if you aren't taking my classes, what are you taking?"

"Lots of history, music classes, journalism....though I'm successfully managing to boycott all math classes," Teagan said, victoriously. "Won't be long before I graduate though," She said, shrugging, "Then I can get back to the English and Creative Writing bit in College." she said, hopefully.
"So, are you enjoying working here?" She inquired, her violet eyes meeting his gaze as her finger ran over the condensation that marred the outside of the bottle of soda. She couldn't help but grin when she looked at him, he was amazing gorgeous and not that much older than her, either, even if he was a teacher.

"I loved creative writing in college. It was so much more open. They gave us a basic topic and we were left to just write. And, I probably shouldn't tell you this as I'm a teacher, but I never liked math either. I pretty much only went when I absolutely had to go, did enough to pass, and that was it." He said, nodding slightly. Of course, he had no problem passing things. He was home schooled with a few other kids. And, in college, he was smart enough to do better than just graduate on test scores alone.
"It's not too bad. The students aren't too terrible. I'm not getting along so great with the other teachers though. I'm a bit too young to be talking about all the ancient stuff they go on about." He said, laughins slightly as he tossed his can into a nearby garbage can.

Teagan nodded, "I don't understand how some of the teachers here are even still functioning. Ancient might be too kind of a word," she said, smirking a bit. "It's nice to see someone in here that was born before 1930," she teased, taking another small sip of her drink. She put the cap back on the bottle, pulling her knees up to her chest and rested her elbows on her knees as she held the bottle between her hands. "So, what do you do for fun, being a teacher and all?" she asked, curiously. She knew that she liked to frequent concerts, play music, go to movies, but was curious if he liked the same things she did.

"I should tell you I have no life out of school. But, that would be lying which we are supposed to teach is wrong. I love doing things anyone my age does. Going to concerts, partying, hanging out with friends. Really, I hate grading things. Just like anyone could tell you, I rarely give out homework or tests. I think both tend to block creative minds." He said, shrugging slightly.
"But, yeah, I guess sometimes its hard to believe I'm supposed to teach these people how to read and write. As amazing a thing that is, sometimes I just want to put my teaching away and just go out and have fun. But, somtimes I just can't. Whcih really sucks." He said with a dull laugh.

Teagan smirked at him, "I'd blow it off," she said, giving a hint of a shrug. "But, I think that's why I'm not a teacher," she said, with another string of soft, melodic laughter. "I would definitely blow off the teaching thing, if there were a concert or something that I wanted to go to..." she said.
